Difference between "then" and "than"
I just wanted to say I have seen many people mistake "then" with "than" The word "then" usually relates to time. It is most commonly used as an adverb. Examples : Subsequently or afterwards :Go to the traffic lights, then turn right. The council members argued for three days then eventually came to a decision As a consequence or in that case :If that's how you feel, let it go then. At that time or that time :
The schedule will be completed before then The word "than" introduces a comparison. It is most often seen with comparatives and words like more, less and fewer. Examples : 10 is greater than 0 Oddworld Beta worth more than 1000$ Firefox is faster than Internet Explorer. 50$ is less than 50€ (exchange rate) Russia is a lot bigger than Poland Please excuse me for the grammar lesson I just writed because it can cause serious misunderstandings, also it would be good if readers who not know how to use the terms "than" and "then" don't mistake the two with each other because they see it that way on the forum. Difference Between "Canon" and "Cannon".
"Canon" usually refers to a story's main parts. (However.. there are atleast 7-8 other uses of the word "Canon" which are not realy important in Oddworld Universe) "Cannon" is usually refers to a "heavy artillery gun". Difference Between He/She/It
"He" - refers to anything/anyone with male gender. "She" - refers to anything/anyone with famale gender. (Also some people use 'she' for highly praised machines usually in military, I'm not entirelly sure if its correct or not but some ships / aircraft gets refered to as a "she" by its crew) "It" - anything/anyone who/which is genderless. (For an example every item should be called an "it" because they are genderless but also mythical creatures without gender should be called an "it".
Difference Between Except and Expect
Except is usually used as a preposition or conjunction, which means not including. Examples : • Every Oddworld game except Abe's oddysee have quicksave feature. • There was nothing left except waffles. • You can see many weird creatures at Mt.Weirdness except Sky Whales.
Expect is a verb, which we use when we think something is likely to happen, or someone is likely to do or be something in particular. Examples : • Expect the return of the cat! Meow! • Noone expects a troll to invade our base. • Obama's return on the TV was expected.

Sorry for my english Im czech It's okay actually xD It's just that there are serious mistakes that can make misunderstanding. Most common examples I seen : People mistake "With" with "Which" and there are people who mistake "Which" with "Witch" (Again two words that look similar but their meaning is completely different) But Still Mistaking "Than" with "Then" is the most common mistake I see. And basically, It's not realy that it bothers me when people mistakes the words, I just want to point out that those grammar mistakes can lead to teach someone else the "faulty" grammar.

Correction: I just wanted to point out grammar mistakes to teach other members the correct English grammar and show any faults.

Correction: I just wanted to point out grammar mistakes to teach other members the correct English grammar and show any faults. 1) I Know, I'm also trying to fix them... I just realized yesterday that "Realy" is spelt "Really" (I know it in the past... But because I seen it many times incorrectly... I completely forgot) xD 2) Somehow... I knew I should check my grammar 3) You are actually right about that one (not like not on the others) but I'm suprised that it was not correct! Sentence : 2) Why exactly it is a past sentence ? , I still want to do that , It's happening currently too xD So you see... even I have to work on my grammar, but that's why it's good to point out mistakes, humans (and even cats & dogs) learn from their (own) mistakes. (and some learn from other people's mistakes... but when it's about grammar.. the result is mostly likely learn a faulty grammar)
