Abe greeting Paramite: "Hello" Door missing from background possibly meaning that no secret added yet and Paramite instead of Scrab. Platform might be looking different too...

I love this beta, hmm i wonder if this was before the demo or after it as if i remember the demo has UXB bombs and the moving bomb on that screen or the screen before

Look, there are more timed mines in the cutscene than in the game.

I always wondered why they removed those Paramites from Stockyards. It feels weird when you only encounter Scrabs there. Or perhaps it's just that Abe chose the shortest route and that just happened to be the one with Scrabs. I would've liked to see what happens when they're on the same screen though maybe they wouldn't reach to each other because that never happens in the final game.

Yes, there is many things i agree here. It's possible that Paramites and Scrabs had own sections and Abe went Scrab route. I have added Paramites and Scrabs earlier in same custom level and they don't react to eachother. Though in some early screenshots Paramites appeared in Stockyards. Now i theorize that they must be there but somewhere else.

1.) Paramites were removed from Stockyards as the one Paramite on its own wont attack Abe so therefore Abe being killed in Stockyards I a lower risk it also wont attack any Mudokon which if you remember you have to quickly save one in Stockyards before its killed.
2.) If they did add two Paramites it will be a lot harder to dodge two of them in the cage as they are quicker then Scrabs and when there are two of them they have a shorter temper then Scrabs and attack more promptly.
3.) Finally as you seen In Rupterfarms Scrab ribs are seen falling in the game and as you go into stockyards in New N Tasty they added a Scrab cut scene.
4.) Therefore I do believe that you go through the Scrab Stockyards Zone in the game not the Paramite Stockyard Zone remember there is also an Elum Chubs Stockyard Zone but the game had to be hard with puzzles so the Scab Route seemed best.

Yeah, too bad the most interesting parts don't last that much, Could've been great if they made stockyards longer by adding different routes and puzzles in them.

With the path style of Crash Bandicoot 2 in Oddworld way. I still find it special that Elum Chubs are not mentioned often in game. Maybe it was not popular product or something else. Still if Paramites had been used at beginning of Stockyards level it would be much harder if you know already how Paramite acts when cornered.

I agree its very hard to jump over a Paramite onto a ledge as they have a short fuse when cornered and can leap B)

I really like this material... Also that touchstone in Monsaic Lines. It could made appear that Monsaic Lines Intro Screen. And that screen with missing Bird Portal guide and wall. It looks so strange in empty way as i'm not used to it. Glad that some beta is found.
