The only current Oddworld Abe's Oddysee Beta is the Demo that circulated before the game was released. The demo version has some great beta aspects, This includes:
Gameplay Sounds: Slig shooting, Slig possesion music, Abe's Gamespeak, Slig Gamespeak, falling objects, Stockyard music, ect
Map Design and LVL: Level layout was different, Had different screens, Had different LCD messages, Game designs were different, added signs saying coming soon 1997.
End of Demo: At the end of the demo stockyards has a completely different layout, Abe will die at stockyards then demo will end, Its impossible to get past stockyards as there is no more paths. At the end of the demo you see full game screen examples this shows beta screens of future game areas and some of them were never used !.
Different HUD and Menu: The gamespeak menu is beta as it has the stay here speak option. The start HUD when you press pause is completely different to the final product.
