Hello, evryone who's on this forum know that I'm working on a custom mod on Abe's Exoddus, and to be honest, I've got a really really anoying problem : I can't add CAMs anymore.
The MI.lvl file is 42,3 mo and when I add one CAM, all the paths from the level file disappear ! I already have deleted every CAMs I don't need in game and all the objects too but the file size doesn't decrease.. So how can you guys help me ?

The original size of MI.lvl is 24.7Mo and there is a limit size. Each level file limit is different. So I think when you replace original CAM by your own one, the original still in the lvl file. Exemple :
MIP01C04 = Original
MIP01C4M = Edited One
MIP01C04 Remplaced by MIP01C4M = MIP01C04.cam.bmp + MIP01C4M.cam.bmp [In the level file]
It's just a theory that's need to be verified, but why I think that :
CAM file size is 450Ko, and when you add it to the MI.lvl, the level file size is now 24.9Mo. In the level file, the CAM is compressed, that's why because your CAM is not the same in the game.
I've actually no idea how to delete the original one, but I think it's a Editor problem because he can't delete proprely the original CAM.
When I will found how, I will post it here.

I must edit something about the theory. I tested somethings and here's what I found new :
-The original CAM is correctly deleted by the editor. -The problem came from the edited CAM size.
I've deleted CAM file with LVL Extractor, I builded it, I added the edited CAM at the place of the original with the Editor. I re-extracted it, and I saw that the file size was the same that if you change CAM with the editor.
I think it's a CAM compression problem, I will tell Paul about this when I can.

Many limitations and bugs with Editor. Paul will be more focused to make new engine than patch editor i think.
