Hello! I decided to create a thread where we can talk about hardware, PC builds or something like this. I'm very interested to build PCs and edit old consoles. For an example I going to buy an old GameBoy Color on eBay and I will change the case of it. (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Full-set-housing-For-gbc-shell-case-for-gameboy-color-transparent-clear-pikachu-with-conductive-rubber/32440153087.html) I found that case on AliExpress and I thought this mix of the crystal case and the Pokémon protection glass looks cool. So, that was my first hardware plan for the next weeks. I going to post my new PC wish I going to buy end of the year later. Little Spoiler: Intel X99 ;D I hope you enjoyed the post!

My dad and I are going to work on Arduino, It is very educating and fun! You get to learn electronics and programming at the same time, That belongs to the hardware topic, you know? I can build a perfect PC by assembling and putting parts anywhere, configure them with Arduino and have a Cookie Jar PC lol, when i put parts inside it I'm currently planning a LED Diode game as my first arduino project!

Sounds very interesting! Are you going to post news about your LED Diode game here? And I very like building PCs, too. I think that's a good time to show my new PC wish I going to buy end of the year. CPU: Intel Core i7 5820k Mainboard: Asus X99-A, X99-Pro or X99 Sabertooth Ram: Kingston Hyper X Fury DDR4 2666 Quad Kit GPU: I think I going to wait until Nvidia shows their new GPUs Cooler: Corsair H110i GTX with 2x Corsair AF 140 Fans SSD & HDD: Corsair Force Series LS 240GB or Samsung SM951 M.2 256GB (Readspeed: 2150MB, Writespeed: 1200MB, Western Digital Red 3tb Case: Fractal Design Define R5 White Window, be Quiet Silent Base 800 Silver Window, Corsair Air 540, Corsair Graphite 760t or Corsair Graphite 780t PSU: Corsair RM 650 or Corsair HXi 750 And also I want to update my Setup. Screen(s): 2x LG 29UM57-P Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Chroma Mouse: Logitech MX Master Headphone / Headset: Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum Pro Gaming But that are only thoughts, so it takes his time until I saved that money. :'D But I'm thinking about to buy a Canon Eos 700D and not a PC, but I will see. What PC do you have at the moment? I have a i3 2100, 4GB Ram and a Radeon HD 6670.

That it one beefy computer! (Stronger that beefy apparently lol) My computer? Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo, Intel Pentium Dual CPU 3.00GHz, 3 GB of RAM, Intel Q964/Q963 PC Express Chipset Family, pretty stable and outstanding computer, just for the gaming a better video card required, currently this is such amazing for a old-style computer, I have this computer over 5 years Yes, when I first get one little motherboard for the project, I'll try to work on it

Linus from LinusTechTips started a month ago a giveaway where the subscribers can win a PC with a 5960X, 32GB Ram, a Supermicro mainboard & case, a 480GB Intel SSD 750 Series, a PNY 960GB SSD, a water cooler (I don't know the name, sorry.) and a Titan X or a Fury X. I participated at the giveaway and Linus is going to announce the winner on the next Wednesday, so I hope I have luck! Ok, sounds good. Yeaaaaaay!

Well... I'm more into software modding but building PCs is indeed fun. Maybe Me and one of my friend are going to build gamer PCs in the near future and we plan that I'm going create a customized desktop user-interface (Probably with support of Overclocking and LED-Color changing from Desktop) And maybe creating our custom PC-Cases in the future (Carbon Fibre&Glass combination, but we possibly only use glass to make some parts of the PC transparent) Well... we possibly going to include a lot of Corsair hardwares too xD

Would be really cool when you post pictures of your project here! Good decision! Corsair is a very good brand. High priced, but mostly good.

I built this PC recently : Motherboard : Asus Z10PE-D8 WS RAM : Vengeance LPX 128GB (8x16GB) CPU : i7-5820K x2 Storage : Western Digital Re 5TB x7 SAMSUNG 2TB 850 EVO x1 INTEL 1.2TB 750 PCI Express HHHL SSDPEDMW012T4X1 x1
Videocard : SAPPHIRE 31004-37-10R FirePro
I'm using it as a main computer for deciphering complex codes also I use it to play games on max. graphics but its main use is being a server that controls deciphering process , store results , logs and known methods and link other machines to help in the deciphering process. Also PCI-E SSD storage is really good, but they are really expensive too.

Well, back then you really helped me, but its too bad that suddenly the website we used disappeared , we should have exchanged skype usernames atleast before it went down.

Yep, It runs perfectly , and I usually use all of the 16 cores I have (either all 16 for server processes or 12 for server processes while I use the remaing 4 to play , but ofcourse, it slows down the decryption processes I run on the server.

I got a new alternate to Arduino. The little device is called Photon created by Particle. It has a Linux installed in it and has It's own wifi. It's just the same as the Arduino (Same programming language, functions, etc.) But their processing units aren't the same. There are two more devices by Particle I think but mine is Photon. It's simply the best thing ever at the same level of Arduino I mean, that's it, Arduino, Photon, same things. It can be connected to a modem or router. You can make your HTML and JS pages from where you can control it. A pretty simple example is creating a little html page with a clickable button that would control a LED diode connected to Photon. Pretty neat! I'm below average of knowing javascript but I'm not too bad either. If I get it to work right I might upload a video so you guys can see it I'm gonna put the HTML file in my android and connect the device to an outlet and control it with my phone About Arduino, I've learned a lot of things in programming and electronics, my last project was a pretty neat idea (It's private ), people from other country wanted something like that so my dad and his friend got me some useful modules and info about the project. It turned out pretty well for what It's actually meant for. But the other things that would make it easier to use I didn't finish. Turns out those people were trolls . My dad's friend stopped trusting them, but whatever, I'd just like to tell you this because I simply think It's the best thing ever made and would recommend anyone who wants to try it out. You can make anything from a quadcopter to even a server
