Hello people! I want to show you all backgrounds I created yet for one of my first created levels. The backgrounds are in the same sequence like in the editor. ^^ (Edited levelfile: R1.lvl path 15) How you can see I mixed objects from exoddus and oddysee. I didn't had a objective when I started to create this level. But after the third screen I got one how you can see. Also I placed a bird portal in the last background (the background with the "password" shield), which teleport abe to the path 16 (so the level isn't finish ). This background-translations I marked must be edited. (I work on it already since yesterday ) So, I don't have any footage for now more. But I hope you like it! Huge thanks to kapteeni who helped me when I had problems with the editor and said his opinion to the backgrounds! - Fynzx

It looks nice so far. When slowly tweaking and improving level it comes enjoyable to play. Helping still with objects as possible...

Editing AO is not that hard, just keep training ! I going to train more - thanks for the motivation! Level Editing can be frustrating sometimes but it definitely worth it. Also I learned more about level editing while created my first large mod (Oddysee Hardmode) I started it solo then Kapteeni and some other people joined to it So yep, Don't give up learning it, level creating is fun!

Ok, i going to train / learn more abouth the editor - thanks for the motivation! And yes, level creating is fun!

If I remember correctly.. both of our third and fourth person only changed a few things like in.. One Screen ? I miss the times when I had no other problem other than building levels (I not able to go to school at the year when I started working on hardmode because my severe depression, more accurately because the usual bullying would have driven me to either complete depression or insanity) I remember how relaxed I was when I created those levels, especially after Kapteeni joined to help in editing hardmode Also I'm not sure if I'm ever going to start working on my "LCD Screen Text Editor" but it's planned. (I think it would be good for your upcoming levelpack!

I think that too, because I wanted to have LCD's in the backgrounds but I deleted them because they would only have the original messages.

We have more in common than i though. I hate bullying too... i hope there would be more talking and smart way to decrease that... there is lot cases of bullying... let's talk it more in Skype if you want... As for LCDs i know that editing .exe might change text there but it's little difficult to edit.

So he might be making very slow progress as he may have important things to do... Unknown really.

It's not really hard to edit levels in AO, to prevent crashing when adding new items, you need to put the right byte value My first screens were photos I took on a little walk trip Just be sure to put walls (Solids) in the right grid so Abe wont jump through them
