So the purpose of this topic is to discuss any changes you would like to see in the upcoming Exoddus remake. I'm not talking about the obvious ones like cool graphics, slightly updated music or seamless gameplay (not separated to screens)... because those will happen anyway. But rather similar ones that New 'n' Tasty changed from Oddysee, like the difficult modes, HP system, additional locations in Paramonia and Scrabania, the quick-save feature, Abe escaping with Glukkons being aware of that and placing traps to Stockyards to hinder his escape (this did not happen in the original game). For Exoddus remake, I would personally want them to maybe even more different types of Mudokons to the mix. You know like there were those angry ones, sad ones, laughing ones... even more variety to them would be great. Perhaps a deaf mudokon? They could also raise the number of mudokons altogether, from 300 to maybe 500. Also I feel they should expand Necrum and make that part longer. And add some extra locations to SoulStorm Brewery where you can encounter Scrabs and Paramites. Would be great to be able to possess them in that area and perhaps run into some Sligs or Slogs lol

Yeah, deaf mudokons sounds fun. Also i agree with Necrum and Scrabs/Paramites in brewery idea. I have currently no other idea than that there should be more MineCar fun. Even maybe secrets with MineCar would be nice. Will keep thinking more what would be cool later. ^^

Would love to see some completely new areas and places. Especially FeeCoDepot. It was way too short in the original game imo

I wonder how they are gonna make Greeters as censors changed in New 'N' Tasty. Maybe new censor thing is seen. But anyways other little idea but more pointless maybe: Use Red Rings in Abe's Exoddus too. Then add also more Crawling Slig puzzles... I still get small ideas...

Yeah, I'd really like Necrum to be extended and perhaps an extended Mine Car journey in Necrum Mines (The first mc), with more puzzles and a longer ride kapteeni13 yeah me too lol Yeah, crawling slig puzzles, normally in Exoddus you play as one only once and It's very short.. definetly that too

That sounds awesome and funny idea! There should be like... somekind of little Terminal and train to RuptureFarms. I also though that it would be funny to see Laughing Gas and Blind Mudokons laugh and run around carelessly. That blind mudokon then should code that it is possible to Slap. ^^

These ideas all are great I hope Lanning would read this thread, now that they're in the planning stages of Exoddus remake lol I wonder if we could visit Vykkers Lab as well, perhaps Munch would make a cameo appearance there. I think it'd be funny if there was some DLC scenario like "Munch's Escape" there, a bit like "Alf's Escape" in New 'n' Tasty Also I thought more about the deaf mudokon: Like he only reacts to Abe when Abe is in front of him on the same floor. So while he wouldn't hear what Abe says but he sees that Abe's trying to talk to him and lead him to those portals.

I thought of another mudokon type.. A paranoid mudokon.. It's simply the same as angry and depressed, he wont follow you, but would it be cool if he heard just one shot from a slig anywhere, because he's paranoid, he'll get like a heart attack and die lol.. and the only way to cheer him up is to fart right next to him (Ingame feature.. when abe farts next to the paranoid mudokon, he will only laugh and wont move away, could mean alot). So yeah, basically a scared to death mudokon lol, any features to add/remove/change to this idea would be appreciated

Latest idea i got is that they should use closely zoomed camera that shows almost just Abe in narrow parts of Necrum Mines. (Like in New 'N' Tasty in parts where camera zoomed close to Abe just little before Paramonia/Scrabania Temple doors.

This is somewhat off-topic, but I just noticed JAW had set an unannounced project to be in development... which is obviously Exoddus remake, isn't it here: www.jawltd.com/project/unannounced-2016-1/it says the platforms are PS4, Xbox One and Windows 10. I'm just wondering what that 2016-1 means.. is it that they announce the game in January 2016?
